Acting as Pre-construction Manager, Cost Consultants and Principal Contractor, Claritas developed a detail design and contract sum analysis for the development by City Style Living.
Adhering to heritage characteristics of the area, the exterior design projected chamfered brick patterns on two bookends of the scheme. This particular design touch required early engagement with the stonemasonry and brickwork contractors, to ensure its accordance with planning requirements.
Internally, layouts and specifications were closely monitored to meet existing market requirements and sales values. In order to deliver its open plan designs and storey heights, 3D modelling, pre-cast RC and steelwork structures were essential, reducing the impact on the neighbourhood and speeding up the construction programme.
