This complex design and build scheme required robust, logistical planning to deliver 33 new senior living homes.
Appointed as Principal Contractor during the preconstruction phases, Claritas created a masterplan that was complementary to its surroundings. Flanked by two schools and residential properties, community engagement was crucial and face to face dialogue a regular activity.
Taking a proactive lead in the development of the design to create programme efficiencies, Claritas counteracted issues where possible. One such example was the recommendation of light gauge steel frames to bring forward other phases of the build, by reducing the drying time of a concrete structure.
